All content on Author-Money.com is provided for information only. By using the site you accept these terms, the privacy policy and the disclaimer.

The material here is editorial opinion and practical experience. It is not financial, legal or tax advice. Decisions about your price, your client contract or your tax regime are yours to make — with a professional where that is warranted.

Using our material

  • Quoting is permitted to the extent justified by the purpose, with an active link to the source page.
  • Republishing whole articles, round-ups or tool copy without written permission is not allowed.
  • Screenshots and excerpts of the tools may be used in reviews and teaching material with attribution.
  • Automated harvesting of the content, including for model training, is not permitted without written consent.

The tools on this site

The fifteen tools run entirely in your browser. They do not send what you type to a server, do not keep it in localStorage or cookies, and require no signup. Close the tab and the data is gone everywhere.

Tool results are arithmetic on your own inputs. Platform rates, fees, tax rules and market benchmarks change; check a primary source before you act on a number.

Affiliate links

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you subscribe or buy on our recommendation we receive a small commission — your price does not change.

  • Having an affiliate programme is not a reason to be listed and does not affect our assessment.

Affiliate commissions are the project’s only source of income. We sell no courses, no consulting and no paid access to the material.

Advertising

We take a limited number of placements, and only what is genuinely useful to beginner authors.

Available formats:

  • Service review — a standalone piece with our own testing. We do not review services we have not used.
  • A mention in a themed round-up — provided the service fits the theme.
  • Banner placement in the site’s blocks.
  • A guest piece — from a practitioner, with real experience and no hidden promotion.

The rules we hold ourselves to:

  • Payment does not buy a positive verdict. If a service did not work for us we will say so, or decline the placement and refund it.
  • We decline placements for financial pyramids, “fast money” schemes, courses promising a specific income, betting and gambling, and anything that misleads the reader.
  • We do not sell links in bulk and do not publish material written purely for search engines.

Guest posts

We accept guest material from practitioners. Requirements: first-hand experience, specifics instead of generalities, no hidden promotion. One link to the author’s own relevant resource is fine when it serves the reader.
